I urge you in the strongest terms to visit; I would drive a couple hours to visit a shop like this. The shop is right on the 'triangle' (Worthington's too small for a square) downtown; you can't miss it. There are a couple other good shops to visit while you're in town, and three restaurants besides. (I recommend the ice cream at the Route 67 Diner!)
So enjoy this picture tour of Worthington Antiques ...
The day I was there the trees were just starting to bloom. |
Lots and lots of wool cut into fat quarters in any color you can imagine! And don't you love this display piece, too?! |
Here's more wool ... |
And more ... |
And just a tad more !!! |
Now, I want to just post some other pictures I took in Denise's shop that day. She has a great sense of balance and knows just the right things to put together. You will enjoy this shop! And for you rug hookers and wool applique folks, I know you'll find what you need here, too. Denise is a hooker and a weaver as well; a very talented and super nice lady that I'm proud to call my friend. Enjoy!
P.S. Mowed today. Everything is so green. The bluebirds are building their nests. Life is good. May God bless you today, wherever you are and whatever you're doing.
